Vodafone Power Lab and UPTEC open applications for the Start-ups School

Porto University Science and Technology Park (UPTEC) today opens applications for the next edition of the Start-ups School programme. Carried out in partnership with the Vodafone Power Lab, this programme lasts for three months and will provide a boost for up to 25 creative, scientific or technological business ideas.

After receiving all the applications, the Vodafone Power Lab will choose the best ideas of a technological nature in a contest. The winners get to attend the Start-ups School programme free of charge and join the Vodafone Power Lab, a programme to stimulate innovation and entrepreneurship. As well as giving support to incubation businesses, the programme provides mentoring, training and support in the Go-to-Market phase, as well as other conditions that allow the new companies to develop and successfully find their space in the market.

The applications for the UPTEC Start-ups School run until 27 March and should be made at the www.escoladestartups.org website. The winning applications will be announced on 4 April.
