Lisbon, 7 February 2011 – For Valentine’s Day, Vodafone is once again surprising its customers with a number of original initiatives. This year, as well as offering top-up bonuses, Vodafone has launched two promotions for customers who purchase one of the phones in the Valentine’s Day Campaign: a 50% discount on the purchase of a second phone or the offer of a “vida é bela® Perfect Dreams” package.

To celebrate this special day, Vodafone is today launching a promotion under the slogan ‘Spread Love Around’ offering its customers a bonus of €5 to share with their favourite Vodafone mobile number.

To take advantage of this promotion, prepaid personal customers must top up their phones with €15 or more between 7 and 14 February and call toll free to 1274 to indicate the number of the other Vodafone mobile phone with which they want to share the bonus.

Both phone numbers will receive a bonus of €2.50, and the customer selected as ‘favourite’ will be told by SMS of the award of the bonus and that they can call toll free to 1274 to find out the number of the phone that made the offer.

In addition, Vodafone is increasing the opportunities for its customers to give a special gift, through two initiatives: the award of a 50% discount on the purchase of a second Vodafone 945 or Vodafone 543 phone and the offer of a ‘vida é bela® Perfect Dreams” package with the purchase of a Sony Ericsson X8, Nokia X3, Vodafone 547 or a Mobile Connect Pen K3565 broadband data card.

These promotions are among a range of initiatives that Vodafone has launched over the years to provide its customers with the most competitive offers in the Portuguese mobile market.
