This Christmas, Vodafone opens the gift that actually matters

Surely, we all know someone, if not ourselves, that has stepped apart from someone special for some reason. Friends or families with broken bonds and separations that direct or indirectly affect the lives of so many people around them. This is the central theme of Vodafone’s Christmas campaign.

“It’s Christmas, time to make peace with the past and open the gift.”

Because family is indeed our most valuable asset, this is the starting point for one more Christmas tale from Vodafone. In a narrative full of emotion, we follow the life of a family that, despite its disagreements, at the end leaves us with the moving message that, with perseverance and generosity, it is possible to overcome even the hardest challenges.

Wunderman Thompson created the campaign and the movie was produced by Krypton Films and directed by Augusto Fraga. The photography director is André Szankowski, accompanied by Film Brokers. The music, Home Again, by Michael Kiwanuka, was carefully selected for the film. The campaign will be released on TV, cinema, outdoors and digital, with media planning from Wavemaker.

We share with you, in first hand, the institutional movie that will be released today at 12h in digital, and that will count with a reduction and product declinations, rooted in Vodafone’s value propositions for this Christmas: https://youtu.be/eSAUyQUqw-U

This is another Christmas where Vodafone Portugal appeals to reflection, which is so common during this time of the year, with a message that we wish that goes beyond the marketing borders and reaches the hearts of the Portuguese.
